Ok! I like a good baby session as much as the next gal. I mean who doesn't? There's little cheeks, little feet, and little smiles. This session though, is almost more little cuteness than I can handle. Every time I stop and look at the photos I feel the baby fever coming on.
I was so excited about doing a milk and fruit bath session. I would have been happy with any fruit. Really, any fruit. I would have even been content with avocados (Note to self for future session), but she chose LEMONS and then strawberries with sunflowers. Is there even a cuter fruit than a lemon? I almost burst from how adorable the set for this shoot was. Multiple times during the session I had to just stop and just swoon over how dreamy the whole thing was. Plus the model is a complete doll, right?
In the spirit of complete honesty I will tell you that there were laughs, there were tears, and there was sweat involved. I think 8 gallons of water, bushels of flowers, bags of lemons, containers of strawberries, and a large metal tub had to be carried onto the shoot site which is a short hike. Thank goodness for my beautiful sister who had a wagon to turn what would have been multiple trips to the car into one slow walk pulling a wagon.
I would do this session over and over again if I had the chance. The sun was perfect. The weather was perfect. The baby was perfect. These are the things we live for.
