Fort Worth Family photographer, serving Fort WORTH and surrounding areas for beautiful outdoor family photography

Families Will Always Be My First Love.

This is where it all began for me, and it’s where my heart keeps coming back to. There’s just something about the way a family loves each other, the way that love shows up in small glances, in wild laughter, in quiet moments and arms wrapped around each other. That never stops feeling like magic.

I feel so lucky to be invited into your lives, to witness your stories unfold, not just once but over the years as your family grows and shifts. It’s a gift I don’t take for granted. I get to be there for the snuggles, the silliness, the chaos, and the calm.

Every session is different, but what always stays the same is how much love I see. And I know these photos will only grow more precious with time. That’s the beautiful thing about photographs; they hold on to moments long after they’ve passed.

I’m so grateful to help you hold on to yours.

Authentic, Warm, Snuggly, Playful Photos Are My Thing

Let Them Be Little

Kids are curious, wild, tender, and totally unpredictable. And that’s exactly how I like it. I don’t expect perfect behavior or stiff smiles. I want your children to explore, play, climb, cuddle, and just be themselves. That’s where the magic lives, and those are the moments you'll treasure most.

Connection Over Perfection

If you’re the kind of family who doesn’t mind a little windblown hair or muddy feet in exchange for real connection, we’re going to get along great. I’m here for the hugs, the inside jokes, the belly laughs, and the quiet, snuggly moments you never want to forget.

Unposed, Unforced

I don’t do stiff, everyone-looking-at-the-camera portraits. If you’re looking for perfectly posed photos, I might not be the right photographer for you, and that’s completely okay. I believe in capturing the in-between moments that feel honest and real, the ones that truly reflect who you are.

FAQ

How can I book a session?

A.You can actually book a session straight through my booking site below this. Just select your desired session, available date/time, and follow the prompts. If you're not really sure which session is right for you, or have a few more questions, fill out my contact form and I will help you figure it out.

Do you require a deposit?

A.Yes, A small deposit holds your date and gets everything officially on the calendar. The rest is due before or on the session date.

What should we wear?

A.I send out a pre session guide that has a little bit of styling information, but I am more than happy to give you more personal help, and can even do a little hunting around and send links to the perfect piece if need be. Looking around the site at my work is another great way to get some direction. See a family that's outfit choices really speak to you? Great, use that as the bouncing board or inspiration when styling your own family. Truly, styling is such a big part of what brings the whole story to life and something that I think can get overlooked. So, please, hear me when I say I want to help you select the perfect attire. Don't be afraid to reach out.

Where do sessions take place?

A.Most of my sessions, unless otherwise stated for some of my minis, take place outdoors in public locations. Scouting locations is a big part of what I do and I have some pretty good hidden places up my sleeve. Once we get you on the calendar we can nail down the perfect spot for the vision. However, don't hesitate to reach out prior to booking if you have something really specific in mind you are set on and want to run it by me first. Most outdoor public locations are possible. If you really want to do your session at a location that has a paid permit fee (think Fort Worth Botanical Gardens) then that can just be added to your invoice.

Locations outside of a 35 mile radius of my home in 76179 will incur a small travel fee of .70 per mile over the 70 mile included round trip. To give an example, because I know I like to have all the info, if you really wanted to shoot at the teddy bear sculptures in Dallas it would be an added $7 travel fee. Additionally, shooting in downtown McKinney would be around $35

Most of the locations featured on my website are withing that 35 mile radius and are free from any travel fees.

How do I prepare kids for a session?

A.Keep it relaxed. Let them move, play, and be themselves. Bring snacks, a favorite small toy if that helps, and honestly, skip the expectation of perfection.

Can I bring my fur babies?

A.I love shooting pets but they do effect a lot of things in the shooting process including the locations we can shoot at. I recommend reaching out before booking with pets so we can make sure we can make all of the pieces fit together.

What if the weather is bad?

A.Bad weather happens and it seems to happen more often in the seasons where we take the most family photos. I normally watch the weather ahead of time so if there's bad weather in the forecast we can decide as a team how we want to proceed. Sometimes we decide to wait it out and see if it ends up moving. Sometimes we decide to go ahead and shoot in a drizzle. Sometimes we decide days in advance that we just need to go ahead and reschedule ahead of time. I like to think I am a very reasonable person and have never had a session I couldn't get rescheduled for a date and time that works for everyone.

How long until I see my photos?

A.So, I don't do sneak peaks and I don't do proof galleries. I work as quickly as I can to get your gallery to you and when you receive it, it will be completely finished with all the final edits included. The number of included images listed for your session is the minimum that will be delivered. All the extras are yours to keep. I am not in the business of holding peoples pictures hostage or making my clients do the hard work of culling through 300 soft edited images. My typical turn around time is 14 days, and I very rarely have to step outside of that timeframe.

Can I bring extended family / multiple outfit changes?

A.It depends on the session type. Minis are tighter and work best with one outfit and immediate family. Full sessions can usually accommodate more people or one outfit change. Let’s plan it together, so it doesn’t feel chaotic.
